On Wednesday’s Backchat, personal freedom and the national security law.
Chief Executive Carrie Lam said on Tuesday that people don’t have to worry about freedoms in Hong Kong because of the new security law Beijing is planning for the city, saying the SAR has shown over the past two decades that it will uphold its core values.

What could the government do to assure the public that their personal freedom won’t be affected under the new National Security Law?
